About Dr. Bailey

I'm happily married and have two sons in elementary school.  As a family, we enjoy going to the beach, traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching LEGO Masters.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, running, playing the piano, painting, and gardening.  My writing has been published on ABC News, Dentistry IQ, and recently, I've been selected as Forbes Next 1000 Aspiring Entrepreneurs of 2021.

I enjoy teaching and have created numerous educational content pertaining to clear aligner therapy through the TrayMinder® YouTube channel with 2 million views. TrayMinder® is an app that I co-founded with my software engineer friend (a former patient) to help clear aligner patients remember to wear and change their aligners so that they can achieve the best possible smile.  TrayMinder® has over 130,000 monthly app users.

As an experienced orthodontist, I find joy in solving problems and helping my patients to achieve their best possible smile. I take the time to understand my patient's concerns and evaluate their jaw structures, soft tissue profiles, and airway to design smiles that enhance natural beauty while respecting the patient's unique biologic makeup.  I am skilled in treating challenging cases with clear aligners and braces alike. 

 

Many parents are interested in early orthodontic treatment (phase I) to help their children with crowding and bite problems.  Both my sons have narrow palates and dental crowding, which I resolved by using palatal expanders to widen their palates and create more space for their adult teeth to grow.  You can watch my son demonstrate how to turn the expander on this video page.
