About Dr. Bailey

I’m happily married with two sons. As a family, we love traveling, spending time at the beach, trying new restaurants, and watching Young Sheldon together.

Outside of orthodontics, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, running, playing the piano, painting, and gardening. My writing has been published by ABC News and DentistryIQ, and I was honored to be named to the Forbes Next 1000 list of aspiring entrepreneurs in 2021.

Teaching has always been something I enjoy. Over the years, I’ve created numerous educational videos about clear aligner treatment through the TrayMinder® YouTube channel, which has received more than 3 million views.

I also co-founded TrayMinder® with a software engineer friend who was once my patient. We created the app to solve a simple but important problem: helping clear aligner patients remember to wear and change their aligners consistently. Today, TrayMinder® has been trusted by more than 1 million users around the world.

​

As an orthodontist, one of the things I enjoy most is solving problems and helping patients achieve smiles that look natural and feel uniquely their own. I take the time to understand each patient’s concerns and carefully evaluate facial proportions, jaw structure, soft tissue profile, airway, and dental relationships when developing a treatment plan. I’m experienced in treating challenging cases with both clear aligners and braces and believe that great orthodontic treatment should respect each patient’s individual biology rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach.

 

As a mother, I’ve also experienced orthodontic treatment from the parent’s perspective. Both of my sons developed narrow palates and dental crowding, and I treated them with palatal expanders to create additional space for their developing adult teeth. They later transitioned to Invisalign® treatment with successful outcomes.
